Article: Choose Your Weapon

Choose Your Weapon
She doesn’t reach blindly.
She measures distance.
Not everyone gets the same access.
Not everyone earns proximity.
Some are kept at arm’s length.
Observed. Studied. Held outside the line.
Others are allowed closer.
Not trusted; considered.
And a few stand within reach.
Close enough to matter.
Close enough to wound.
Distance is never accidental.
It decides how much of you remains untouched.
How much of you stays protected.
And how much of you is willing to risk exposure.
Before the arena,
before the silence breaks,
before the moment becomes irreversible; distance is already chosen.
Choose your weapon.
